When Ross & Pat Bryan were looking for healthcare products for Pat, who has Lupus, Fibromyalgia and Sjogren's Syndrome, they soon recognized the need for a store that would provide a wide range of home healthcare products. But more important than the products was the need for a store that would treat every customer the same; whether purchasing a large item such as a scooter or a small item, each customer would be treated with respect, kindness and honesty. Pat was all too familiar with the frustrations and hurts that people often experience during these difficult times in their lives and they wanted their store to be a place where the customers would feel cared about and comforted. Hence the name Tranquil Lane Products was chosen, reflecting a place of calm, caring and comfort, a place that would encourage them on their journey. So in 1991 Ross & Pat opened Tranquil Lane Products. Ross manages and runs the store each day. He began working with minimal experience in the home healthcare area but with a strong desire to serve and help others. His caring personality, honesty, and straightforward manner have endeared him to his customers. As Pat is unable to work, she does the bookkeeping at home and is the founder of His Path Ministries, a Christian ministry for people with illness or disability.
